I don't know if I was more impressed by the incredible architecture at the Fondation Louis Vuitton or the exhibitions of modern art.

Frank Ghery is the architect of the building. His inspiration were a sailboat's sails inflated by the wind. After a construction period of 8 years, the Fondation opened its doors only recently in October 2014.

The current exhibition presents contemporary works by Chinese artists, among them Ai Weiwei and video installations by Yang Fudong.

The building itself with its several terrace provides a magnificent view over Paris. This is especially beautiful during the evening hours when the sun goes slowly down.
